street outside the Patronato. The Patronato is only a block away from Linea,
one of Havan's main roads, and there is extensive traffic in the neighborhood.
Jose Levy Tur, shown with
his daughter, is leader of Havana's Sephardic congregation.
The women's group at the
Patronato has a meeting. Membership has increased extensively in the past
years.
